Had bridal proposal here, we got the private dining area for us and their service was awesome. I ordered Pesto Pizza was too good.
Best Italian restaurant i have tried to this day. I could not recommend this restaurant more, from the appetizers, drinks, meal, and dessert. The vodka pasta, the lasagna, the margarhita pizza, and calamari were excellent. The flavors are fresh and taste authentic. The waiters were great, attending to our needs. The ambiance in the restaurant was also a nice touch.
This was my first time coming here. My dad met me there and it was his first time as well. The service was excellent, everyone was very attentive and service was quick. The food was good, and the noise level and ambience was perfect for myself and my dad. It wasn't too loud, and it wasn't too quiet either. My dad said he's definitely going to come back for sure and he's someone who's very picky with food. Only problem I had at this location was after I got my ticket validated it still didn't work when I tried to get out of the structure, but it seemed to work for my dad so that was the only bad thing. Other than that it was great.
My husband and I dine at Il Fornaio, Irvine, regularly, with the last time being on Thursday. They seated us at a large table where we requested. We started with the Insalata Di Pere. It was really tasty with roasted pears, yummy gorgonzola and pecans. We also ordered the Cristina pizza with prosciutto di parma, mushrooms and mozzarella. We ordered it without the arugula this time. Tony, our waiter, was great at fulfilling all our special requests and had good suggestions. He was extremely attentive and friendly. Next, we ordered the Cioppino, off the specials menu, which was outstanding and finally finished up with 3 large scoops of different kinds of gelato. Drinks were good, food was excellent and Tony was wonderful.
Consistently exceptional - Regardless of location you know that you will always have a wonderful experience, filled with crunchy bread, attentive service and a terrific range of traditional and regional menu choices. The atmosphere is classy and high end as well - really less darkened tuck and roll and more open and communal, with kitchen and service areas on active display. I often forget about this restaurant because it is not a small local place in my town - but am always so happy when I remember to enjoy it again!!
1. The pizza tasted flavorful, but the dough was a bit weak for my preference! 2. The spot has high-end casual vibes that look good for business meetings! 3. There are indoor seatings, outdoor seatings, and a private room seating! 4. The staff were friendly and attentive! 5. Parking Garage is nearby!
